It’s going to be a good season! · Grade 12 Scholarships – the following are now available in student services: the Loran Award is offered to graduating students with a minimum 85% average who demonstrates strong leadership and moral character. This award is granted up to $75,000.00. · Picture Retake Day – Tuesday, October 19th. · Youth Travel Club – attention all world travellers: if you would like to spend Easter 2012 visiting the fairytale castle on New Schwan Stine in Germany, or floating in a gondola on the Grande Canal of Venice, the youth Travel Club will be holding its inaugural meeting on Wednesday, September 22nd in the A.E. Peacock library at 7:30. · Student Fees – fees of $35.00 are now due and payable, please bring them to the office as soon as possible. · Soccer – game today against Swift Current @ 4:15 pm at Sunningdale Field. Come out and cheer on the team · Jr. SGA – any grade nines who are interested in joining Jr. SGA there will be a meeting in Mrs. Rosso’s room (rm 303) at noon on Wednesday, Sept 22. Jr. SGA plans spirit days and assemblies for grade nines only. YES, we do run outside in the rain!! · Girls Soccer – Practices will run Monday to Thursday this week from 4 – 5:30 pm at Sunningdale Field. · Golf – all golfers please meet in Mr. Holzer’s room 124 today at 12:05 for a quick meeting. · Gym & Weight Room – are open every day at noon for students to be active in the activity of their choice. We meet in the gym at 12:10 tomorrow for a brief meeting. We will not be running tomorrow, but will be getting organized for our busy upcoming season.
